AIC has succesfully finished the start-up of the project for the modernization of the Andec Mill plant in Ecuador, thanks to the collaboration of its Italian and South American teams.
The project involved a comprehensive revamping of the PLC, converters, recipe systems, and HMI, requiring specialized expertise to minimize downtime. AIC’s skilled team ensured a smooth transition, achieving a short ramp-up curve with minimal operational disruption, reduced to a few hours.
Beyond supplying the automation and revamping solutions, AIC ensured a smooth transition by overseeing system activation, providing comprehensive training for plant personnel, and offering ongoing support, including spare parts when needed.
This project marks a significant milestone for AIC, as Ecuador becomes the 65th country where the company has successfully delivered its expertise.
